Nice composition and demonstration of wide to tele Alan.
Were these taken with your previously mentioned typical settings of (Vivid Color, Sat -, Sharp +, ND Off) ? ISO 100?
Any PP to tweak the sharpness?
The sharpness at full zoom is notable.

That zoomed-in shot on the old house is beautiful...
... the birds sculpture is wonderful, I had not seen one with that movement, rhythm and lightness, a great artist indeed.

Alan: Was the second one really done with the hx100 at full zoom from the same location as the first? I saved them to Picasa and looked at the full zoom one at 400% on 700k pic and it still very good. Unreal!!!!
