Hi all my first hdr taken with a580, thoughts welcome as i like to improve on things that could be done better ;-)

the bomber to my opinion is a little too much "in your face" but i do like the feeling of the picture..well done..silver efex right?
 
Great pic...very dramatic and striking. I think it would make a great wall poster.

Maybe a touch too much contrast (levels compression?) for my liking, but that's really being picky and is admittedly just a matter of personal taste...someone else could just as easily feel that they wanted more contrast/compression :)
 
Personally I like the B&W version better. Something about the green middle ground behind the plane bothers me in the color version -- it's distracting. In the first version I noticed the ground, the plane, and the sky, and anything behind the plane was irrelevant. That changed with the addition of green vegetation in the color version.

I really like the PP by the way...would love to try out that suite on some of mine.

I do like the black and white one alot better, but here is the original it's amazing what you can do to a photo from the original shot



 
I'm in agreement with The Void...the B&W works better for me as well. 1 option may be to desaturate the background a little to make the other colours less prominent.

Going back to your B&W version, if you're in an experimenting mood, another possibility may be to play around with a subtle tint...maybe either a dark blue, or a sepia?
