D60 and Canon Macro100 USM

Sounds cool.

In this case, is the AF can't be used? If so, then do you need to manually tune the MF of both lens to get the object get focused?

Here's another example:

I am new to take marco pics and I want to learn more.

What is a reverse ring? Do you mean using this ring can "combine"
the two lens, 50mm and 100mm marco together to take pictures?

Can other lens be combined too?

Anyone find the need for the rather pricey tripod mount ring for
this lens?
How much is the ring?
The ring is about $130!!! I find that the lens is light enough and short enough that it does not put too much of a strain on the lensmount, either handheld or tripod-mounted.

In fact, the camera weighs more than the lens, and when you add 2 batteries and the BG-ED3, there would be more stress on the lensmount using the tripod mount ring than mounting the camera on the tripod. Add the wheight of the control module of the ringflash (it goes in the hotshoe mount), and I think I would much rather use the camera tripod mount.
