Hi Hugh this is my favorite of all your images I have seen here. I
just love the light you captured in the photo it makes me feel very
calm, just what I needed after a hard day at work.

Hello Gary,

Thank you for commenting and for the kind words. One of the things I try to capture in these early morning scenes is the quiet unstressful feeling. Glad to know it worked in this one :-).

Hello Hugh

Seeing this (an others) low light photo I wonder about the importance of adjust the monitor.

Certainly I see very well this beatiful photo and I'm happy to use the Adobe Gamma often to make the adjust.
Thanks to show the extremes of lights and the saturation of colours.

with respects

Hello Martin,

I think you have it figured out, but many don't. I got the Spyder, advertised here, and use it every so often. I'm pretty sure many don't even use the Gamma adjustment. Anyway, thanks for the comment and I'm glad you like the picture.

Hi hugh,

This is a real nice spot, with great interesting lines. And putting all of your fine immages behind each other I can see a real sunrise,

jacques.

Hello Jacques,

Thank you, as always, for taking the time to comment and for the compliments. It really doesn't matter if others don't bother to participate as long as some of us continue to share images and ideas.

Sorry, Hugh, I like blue . . . and rust. How many times am I going to be saying, "I love this one"? But I do. You have the right "touch" for sunrises and sunsets, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing any of them. I hope you don't get tired of hearing me say the same thing over and over.

Tom
Hello all,

Yes, I admit I am somewhat fixated on this early blue light.

Thank you.

What a beautiful shot......the lighting on the pier makes it extra
special....wonderful 'addiction'....thanks for sharing!
Hello Lucy,

Thank you very much for the comment and the kind words. I've shot this area several times, and usually I dislike the effect of the park light, but this time it seemed to work very well. Glad you like the effect.
