Unusually, I was about to cup my hand around this young Gecko for a closer look when from around the corner of the wall at lightning speed came this big-ish Huntsman, about four inches leg span. Spider must have known Gecko was coming, probably from signal lines laid down. And it was over soon enough as Spider silently crept away into the darkness of the house's wooden framework , still carrying his dinner, glistening venom falling over one eye of it as he went.

Outstanding macros, Mark, and a horror story to boot. You could sell those to a wildlife magazine. Excellent lighting and plenty of DOF from the FZ50.
