XZ-1, quick question about focusing (manual focus).

Can you use the lens ring to manual focus in a dslr-like way? Is it optimized? (like instantly zooming the screen -just the screen- when starting to play with the ring)

Edit: I got another question: how the bulb exposure works in this camera? Ok, the real question is: do you have to buy the remote control to get a 16 minutes exposure or I can do it without it?

No on the ring, and no on instant zooming. You need to press up and down on the small ring on the back.

You can set bulb in manual exposure mode and you need to keep the shutter button pressed, so a remote control would be a good investment. Cheap ones are on Ebay.

Yes I bought the JJC remote on Ebay, very cheap and works fine.
