I've started collecting old 6MP cameras. So far I have aquired:

Panasonic FX3
Fuji F11
Fuji F650
Canon Ixus 65 (SD630)

Are there any others I should check out?

I also want to get a Canon Ixus 75.

Buy new and just just a smaller image size that might give you 5 to 7 MP. Buying an old electronic device these days is asking for trouble with no warranty and they are not repairable even by the manufacturer. Most will just offer a refurbished P&S at a discounted price for a camera that isn't working.

Much cheaper to buy old on ebay.
With ebay you are also taking a risk of getting a poor condition item dealing with an individual and like I said, no warranty which can make your cheap ebay buying experience costly when it stops working within months.

They are getting hard to find, but the Fujifilm F30 & F31fd, were/are the best ever. Particularly in low light. They have become almost cult cameras now. For the time they had the best sensor for a P&S. I currently own both. Perhaps someday I may sell them....maybe!

As for the Canon G5 POwershot? You would be better served getting the G3. Both are exactly the same except for MPs. G3 is 4MP. G5 is 5MP. I owned both. And the G3 produced less noisey pics. Personally I think the G3, it was beautiful, was the best G series until the G10. But then.....those are opinions.
Good hunting.

Get a Fuji S6000 and shoot RAW, though these were straight out of the camera. Not compact but same sensor as F30 I think.

I agree. My brother has this camera and I tell him to take care of it because the don't make cameras like it anymore. 12x zoom with fast (wide) aperture at full zoom, focus accuracy is great as are colors (tend towards a little warm on skin tones) being very consistent. I'd take 6 MP from that camera, even with a 1/2.3" image sensor, over 12 to 14 MP images from today's new P&S cameras! IQ on that camera rocks.
