Just post here, 2 of my first pictures i took last weekend, with brand new HX100V.
I want to share them with you and read your opinions about them.

This camera is my first advanced camera (of course not dSLR), as i used to have simple and easy cameras (Canon IXUS the last one i had)







 
The second shot is pretty neat. Moon shots I find turn out better when its a partial moon (you can usually see more detail on the edges of the darkness)
 
Nice composition on #2. Good colour and good idea.
Moon shot is fine.

Thank you v30, i will try to take some new moon photos later this weekend and see the difference.
 
Moon shots dont do anything for me, but the timing on the the second shot is superb :D

Like every child's new toy, the moon shot was to play with 30X optical zoom and enjoy the new camera :-)

Similar to a couple of the other replies, moon shots don't really do anything for me. To be honest, i don't think i have seen a stunning moon shot taken with any camera other than SLR's.

Your second picture is an absolute belter, although a quick observation if i may; level the horizon in PP and crop so both girls are equidistant from each edge.

Thanks Derek for your commnets. I also noticed about the need of crop, but didn't want to modify it while waiting your comments. About horizon, i didn't notice it before, so thanks!!
