Hi everyone, been lurking for awhile doing research, reading, looking at images etc. I'm no expert in photography at all, I like to take pictures of places I'm at or family or just cool stuff I see, I love to catch people in natural scenes and doing natural things. as with anything I buy I set a budget and usually starting researching whats available and options and what will work for me and what I need, I think most people do that.

With this purchase of a new camera I've decided between 3 so far and they are:

Panasonic DMC-zs10
Casio EX-PH100
Fujifilm F550 EXR

these were chosen after reading reviews, looking at pictures in different gelleries, looking at specs and recommendations.

I like the GPS feature, except the Casio doesn't have it, I looked into the ZS7 and I', wandering will I miss out on anything by going with a ZS7 considering it's less money then the ZS10

I'm at that point that I'm gonna pull the trigger in the next day or so and need some advice and final words from people in the know

thanks so much for sharing your opinions

You've done the hard work by doing research and reading reviews which are written by people much more expert than us amateurs who post here.

The final stage is not to ask us, but to go into a shop with your shortlist and try out the three cameras to see how they feel in your own hands, and ask any questions that may arise. Then you can make a final choice based on the biggest expert - you.

Panasonic are the best P&S camera makers. They carry the legendary Lieca optics,They are very user friendly and do not have glitches as others do.Their image quality is the best owing to the best lens maker makes lenses for them.ZS7 or ZS 10 be the first choice. If not go Fuji.

Bullhocky. Sony uses "Zeiss" lenses, therefore they must be the best.
