During a hiking in NW Iran, dark clouds shrouded the evening sky and left us wet all over. A tiny drop of rain on the lens a littled blemished the shot.

I did some curves and contrast in PS.

C&C welcome. Camera: Lumix FZ-8.

I have the uncanny feeling that the cloud cover and the foreground form a pair of eyelids through which the viewer is looking at the central area! A striking picture.

Good shot. But hiking in Iran? You're very brave. I think I'd rather hike in Detroit.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So is a gnat.

Lovely shot, very nice layering and use of B&W. I think perhaps you could easily remove that water droplet in PP if you so desired.

This is my country. It is rather safe, people have no anti-west sentiments. OK, the government is evil. The society has problems too: unemployment, religious orthodoxy, bad economy. The country itself is beautiful. We are fighting to someday free it from this evil government.

P.S. Please do not stretch this very post as its content may be politically weighted not photo-wise.

Thank you all for your comments and encouraging hints.
