Could anyone tell me where I might buy a remote cord for my D7? The manual lists the RC-1000s or RC-1000L. I cant seem to locate these things! If there are any other brands/models that are known to work that would be fine too.

Thanks!

Jim

I tried Google search engine, typed in RC-1000L. Got over 900 hits in less than a second. Many of those will sell you one. Better still is to get someone reply that has bought one at a good price, but use google if you want. Happy hunting.

Jim, try to make one of your own. It is really simple! You do not have to be an expert electronics engineer! :-)

I made mine myself and it works like a charm. I can also have both the short and long version at once, so I do not need to carry the whole thing if I don't need to. Make sure you have one very short dettachable end at one side (about 0.5m, less than 2') as this makes things much easier.

There used to be several info on this scattered in several threads around the MINOLTA forum.
I have a link somewhere, if only I could find it again for you.
