I finally get to use my C Biogon 35mm/2.8!! Got it off ebay a couple weeks ago, then had the adapter stolen from my doorstep... Finally got sick of adorama taking their sweet ol' time sending a replacement and just ordered another adapter off ebay, which came today.

Will post real samples when I get time to do some shooting, but so far it's siilky. I am kinda bummed about one thing though.... It focuses past infinity. One of the reasons I splurged on the voigtlander adapter was because I hoped it might be better in this regard than a cheaper model (the other is because it's release lever is very unobtrusive).

My question for anyone with this combination (looking at you, headofdestiny) is: does yours focus past infinity? did you have to shim it?

Can't wait to do some shooting!

Congrats! they're quite nice, it looks like your focus for the patio shot was perhaps just a hair off, but the microcontrast is definitely that of a CZ!

Congrats! Cool little lens. My Biogon C focuses past infinity with my Rainbowimaging adapter too. I may shim it someday but I'm too lazy.

May I suggest getting a 43mm B&W filter and then use a 43 to 52 step up ring stacked? Makes for a cool looking little "hood" as well as providing protection for the len's focus ring every time you set the camera down on a table for example.

Yep, as with most of my M lenses, the C-Biogon focuses past infinity with all three adapter brands I've tried. Enjoy the lens!

Haha, the gentleman that I bought the lens from actually included a B+W filter and a 43-58mm step up ring. But with the camera resting flat on the table, the lens doesn't hit. I think I will leave the step up ring off for now and be careful. Thanks for the tip though, I may just do that if I think I need it.

I do lot of timer shots with the camera sitting on a table and often need to wedge something (a pen, bottle cap, etc) under the lens for proper elevation. Here is where the step up ring provides protection.

Just follow the link above. On the top menu bar select contact&order and either fill in the form or drop them an email. They do ship worldwide express - just 3 days from Japan to Switzerland.

Just be careful. I've not heard of any problems with the 35/2.8, but the 35/2 is known for the extending front section of the lens getting loose, and putting any extra pressure on that filter thread area could cause problems, longterm.

So far I tried the adapter with Zeiss 18/4, 21/2.8, C 35/2.8, and Leica 90/2.0 cron pre-ASPH. All worked well.
