Manual Focus Peaking function

Does anyone know?... sorry for my ignorance
With the new update on the 20th
( http://www.dpreview.com/news/1106/11060814sonyfirmware.asp )

we'll have Manual Focus Peaking function, does that apply to all manual lens... will I be able to get peaking on Nikon lens too?

Yes, all lenses in both still and video mode.

I hate to say thing but...I wish monday would hurry up! Im very curious about the effectiveness of this function with fast lenses.

Although I'm getting better with eyeballing it without hitting the magnify button, this would definitely seal the deal on making my NEX get used more often

I agree, this would make a very significant impact on how much my MF lenses get used (as well as the NEX-5 too)
