Yep, good colours. F2.8 is not recommended for macro, due to spherical aberration. The 2nd one looks better, though a smaller aperture still (than f4.5) would have helped get all of the bee in focus

I had forgotten that fuji recommends the smaller f stop for macro. I am usually trying to keep the shutter up to avoid camera shake when hand held.

The good thing with X100 is that you can cranck ISO up to keep shutter speed high - with great results ...
