Squirrel-O-Rama

It's a marmot. Lots of them around the Grand Tetons. They even have a crossing sign for them at the museum, and you can see someone feeds them regularly.

Marmots are a perfect example of what happens when humans get too chummy with the animals. Sure, they're cute and fun to watch, but once they get fed, they start expecting it, and now you've got big rats trying to eat your food and drag away your boots.

This is getting out of hand.

What next.....Tigers!

I knew things were headed downhill.

Actually that is an interesting picture. I can't tell if the tiger is curious or hungry!

Quick, someone hit the "complain" button.

I am dragging this thread off topic!

(Yes, that's a Lay's potato chip..I think it's a kangaroo rat, though we named him "Chippy" anyway.)

Don't twitter this to anyone....

Not a bird. Its a squirrel in flight. It was jumping from the limb to another tree. Taken with ep1 and oly 43 40-150 lens with adapter.

I know, I was kidding.

Some of you folks take me so seriously!

How did you handle focus?

Excellent shot Joe.

Why is his chest red?

Tedolph

I am not exactly sure why the red color either! My guess is probably due to the setting sun or a new breed of squirrel. I shot it on a college campus in Texas.

--The man who is FKA "King of All Trolls", is now known as "King of All Posters". Not only are you on top of the posters by over 100 posts in the m4/3 forum, you are on top by a couple of posts on all DPR forums. How do you do it? Do you have a job?

BTW, "Squirrel-o-Rama" was a wild success...so to speak.
