During the hot summer....
It depends a lot on how you travel and by what...knowing hot Asia quite well.
If I travel with all kinds of transport in an area I haven't been before, in hot mushi conditions with the choice of yours and I have to drag all my stuff every time with me, instead of leaving it at a base (hotel/home what ever).
Absolutely the D700, with the 35mm, 50mm and the 28-300...wonder if I would bring my 85mm 1.8
