[Autofocus] Newbie Quest

Hi,

i asked in another forum if the DIMAGE 5 is good
for action-pictures.. (exp. Volleyball).

The answer was: NO - cause the autofocus is too slow!

now i thought -i can use the manual focus, cause the distance
between me and the object (player&net) is fixed..

am i right - or just confused ?!?

Hey

hm - the picture in that thread looks like
it should not like ;(

the movement of the player looks like
a ghost - i want sharpe edges..

I know what you mean I am trying the same thing but with gymnastics and trampolining...occs football.

I find post editing in photoshop the best. I will be post some of my successfull pics on pbase later. See links below.
