NB-1LH / NB-1L batterys for IXUS V3/2/1

I notice that there are two types of batteries available for the IXUS range. The NB-1LH and the NB-1L batteries. Are there any difference in them? If not, why the different names?

They are different. The NB-1LH is 840 mAh (compared to the 680mAh of the NB-1L), so it's about 30 minutes longer lasting.

I would recommend getting NB-LH1's ... you can always use more battery power

This battery (AC-NB1LH) is rated at 1200 mAh. I have one and it lasts longer than my original battery.
