The Lady's turn for turning...

Hope people will ignore the Political connotation and consider the smudge

C and C always appreciated

Best wishes

Very nice.

Don’t let your victories go to your head, or your failures go to your heart.

What stands out for me in this one is the complimentary color scheme (Background included) and nicely tufted hair. Very nice work.

That's frightening, like the ghost of Christmas Past.

Very Nice Ray, I'm also fond of the texture you use.

I'm just trying my hand at my first smudge (ever), and wondered if you might share your texture settings.

You always do such great work.

I'm always amazed at your smudges. My only comments on this is first, I would like to see the whites of her eyes brighter. I'm sure they are what they were but as long as we're correcting things like wrinkles and blemishes we might as well take artistic license here as well. Also, not sure I like what's going on with the pattern in her suit. I'm sure patterns like these are nightmares for smudges, sort of like a check shirt on TV.

I can barely contain my political comment - but I will!

Having made her look attractive, by the very nature of smudge, had she been up all night sharing the brandies with Dennis?

Why are her eyes so bloodshot? They are not in keeping with the rest of your treatment. I am sure you didn't make them like that deliberately, so I also assume that's how they were on the photo you used.

Perhaps you could work on those, or in the words of the song; 'Take a Pair of Sparkling Eyes' from someone else's picture altogether.

Cheers, Tony.

Hi all

Once again all the help and feedback is invaluable...I tried to do as suggested and have made the following changes...

Changed pattern on her suit
Lightened eyes
removed some of the red from them

I hope the changes are an improvement as the feedback is so valuable.

For one person above (sorry, cannot remember who) who asked about the texture....I used Trimoons canvas....available from his website to download...any problem just e mail or pm me and I will help.

Best wishes

Nice work! Wow! Are her eyes really two different colors though?
