Cool beach picture

I'm not sure of the D7000 has this feature in-built but if not most semi decent photo editing packages will have a straighten feature.

it's odd in that if the horizon is straightened out, consequently the young lady will probably then appear to very tilted herself.

Anybody stop & think the angle is intentional? Kids are off -level more often than not--esp when turned free at the beach.

I like it without the horizon straightened.

As it is there is a 'zig zag' pattern from the horizon to the surf edge to the girls stance. Gives it a fun feel, to me anyway.

Had to straighten it and check it out for myself..

I like it better Straighten.

Feels to me like she is about to be flattened by the ocean the way it is.

IMHO

Either way, there is some work to be done, you can hardly see her face. need to clean that up a bit

I think the face is beyond cleaning up and it's now an official silhouette photo as may have been the intent.

Its possible that was the intent, but its not past save-able. I was able to clean it up and start to get facial details with the little JPG that i could download..

The Raw file could easily be fixed and not loose the feel of the picture

WOW; you must have used d3x with a 24-70 for this stunner..
