I think the lens is a Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro.

These are very nice shots, I'm not sure what lens you were using, hence don't know what capabilities you had at hands, but you shot in aperture priority at 100mm, aperture f/5.6, I would have probably opened the apertured quite a bit more to isolate the subject from the background.

Just my own opinion, other than that, I like them ;)

I am using EF 100mm f/2.8 L IS.
I shot those pics in 4.0 - 5.6 to make sure having deeper DOF.

At max aperture (f/2.8) i have result as folow:

 
And voilà ! For me , this is nicer than all the others technically, the background is blured, and you isolated the subject and her beautiful eyes, the rule of third was even observed, it doesn't matter to me that the right eye is a bit OOF because of the DOF, I like this one best as far as "portrait" goes. Gorgeous little one BTW, and obviously love to be photograph, I have a daugther (and two sons) and she also LOVE to be photograph ;)
