Does anyonre have a recomendation for a tabletop tripod for the UZI? The few I've seen in Circuit City, Best Buy, etc, looked a little too small or flimsy for the UZI. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, it would just be nice to have - especially with the holidays coming up!!

TIA,

I have a Quanteray that I picked up for $20 at a camera shop in the mall......maybe Wolfe? It is very sturdy and has 2 sections to let down so it can be about 12" at the smallest to 18" at the tallest. It is built just like the big guys with adjustable pan head.

I like the Ultrapod-II that I picked up in a camera store for $17. I've also seen it at REI.com and in their stores. It is sturdy enough to hold the UZI + flash in horizontal position, but it won't hold it in vertical position with the camera on the side. It also has an attached velcro strap to attach the tripod to trees. Here is a picture:

Quantaray is the house brand for Ritz, Wolf, and whatever other camera stores they've acquired recently.
