HX100V macro capability

These are excellent, and the lens isn't that expensive. How did you attach it to your HX-1? Does it have threads? What was the lens distance from the first jumper? I'm hoping that the HX100V is capable of this IQ, because I want the additional telephoto power for birds. but the additional megapixels may make that a dream.

I use it with a tube adaptor 57 - 58mm.

The first pic was taken with two lenses the distance was about 15cm.

These are amazing macros. It would be great if we are able to use same lenses with HX100v.
 
Did I understand correctly that you use two of these together, giving you the equivalent of 4x?
 
Better yet! When you originally said "2x VCL-M3358" I took that to mean 2x magnification.
