WooHOO! Felines are some of my favourite subjects and with five furballs of my own on top of the kitties in the neighborhood, I'm certainly not lacking for "models"!

Hi there Schwany,

looks like you overdid the noise reduction on that one, the pets fur and feather lack any detail and appear rather plasticky ;-)

That aside, the Minolta 50f/1.7 + 2x TC combo does a remarkable close-up job here.
Nice lighting, too.

Two nice felines captured here. In the first shot, the sun casts an interesting shade into the upper part of the cat's eyes, a little like Zorro.

the second shot suffers from a lack of depth of field or from motion blurr, not sure what - in any case, it does not appear really sharp. that diva looks like asking for more attempts to do her appearance justice.

Could be a cat. Maybe??

Love the first one.

Thanks. As you can see, he's quite comfy in his domain! ;)

Here´s one I took recently. Not mine, just a random ´street cat´ on the road home.

A900 with 135/f1.8Z at f11, 1/250, ISO 160 (+0.7 EC)

... that creeps into the from from the right. That would make this catch of a very pretty cat in unusual surroundings even more special.

Nice moment in no. 1.

In no. 2,, a larger aperture might have blurred the background more, to make the tiger stand out more.
