Pentax always catches flak for bringing out colourfull cameras. But when I walked past a camera shop in Hong Kong a few months back, the first thing my (female) friends noticed was this very camera (different front, though). The next thing was a pink K-x.
Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's useless. You're just not the target audience here.
