Yay I'm popular! Ahem.. hehe

Doh! This is indeed a busy forum, I wonder how many users followed the link within the last 15 minutes. It will be back, it's just being overloaded at the moment. ;) I tried to make it relatively light-weight too, a difficult task when you want to show quality images.

Well, Congratulations!

I don't know if overload has been what caused blips before, but this is the first time a message has appeared above my toolbar to tell me that that is why I can't access something.

Anyway, I got through next time and much enjoyed your review- Phil, watch out: if you can't get that review to us, there are those what can!!

Only thing is, some of the boxes for photos have crosses in the corner instead of photos. Otherwise splendid.

Many Thanks,--
Rosie

Thanks Rosie,

Nothing like an informative error. lol.

As for the crosses, my suspision is that the images didn't load due to the heavy traffic on the site. When I can get through, I'll take a look. :)

Kudos from here also; an excellent overview. It's refreshing to read an objective review done by someone who is a good photog, familiar with the Canon system and the EOS series specifically (including the EX flashes). It's obvious you have a thorough grounding in the principles of photography, something a lot of digicam users and pundits on this site lack.

Cheers for that. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I simply saw some G3 shots without text after a long long loading time

maybe canon user, :)
My appologies, but the site is being heavily visited. I'm working to relieve the server load somewhat, so hopefully in the next day or two it will have fewer time out errors when the server gets hammered.
