Went out last Sunday to a butterfly place with my newly aquired lens. This lens is big and a little hard to hand hold but I think the more I use it the sharper the pics will be.
Here's one for cc.

One of my all time favorite lenses. Sadly mine was dropped into a lake.....don't ask, but I still miss it.

I shoot with a Sony 100m Macro now and really miss the extra working distance the 180 allowed.

Enjoy and be careful around water!!

but I don't think you'll get much sharper than that. Very nice shot, lens looks like a keeper to me.

This was one of the sharper ones. Out of a couple of hundered taken with the tamron and my zeiss 135 only a handfull seemed sharp to me.
Thanks for the input.

Nice shot.
Tripod, remote, f-8 aperture and up will get you sharper results!
Its a wonderful lens, along with the 90mm Tamron.
