fun fun fun

hey there,

actually .. not correct!

the photo is 1 image that was exposed for 4 sec, and the zoom
started tight on the cup (floating image) and then was widened
gradually during the shot (giving the appearance that the small
image of the cup grew into the large image) and finally resting at
wide to highlight the small cup.

i think with the right subject this technique could produce some
awesome photos, like a wedding shot where the bride is perceived to
increase in size, over time.

Have never came to such an idea, but like it. It is hard to be implemeted with my existing camera

Hi Plamen,

Thanks for your kind comments.

BTW: D7Hi in Hungary is $2,000.-. This is retail price that contains 25 % VAT. Foreigners may get a refund at the border, airport, etc. so practically its around $1,600.-, still too expensive to come to Budapest to buy. :-((

Bye. Ferenc

Toooo epensive - like in BG. I have to find some way... It is not a big problem to come to Budapest, but the only benefit will be seeing a great city (have some friends at Malev here). I had the same idea about Germany as I've been so many times there, but my wife will kill me :-))))))))))))))). No way - have to relay on a friend of mine that lives in USA...

Have posted some more landscapes http://www.pbase.com/plamen_antonov/landscapes

Hi Guys,

How about landscapes and/or zoom techniques paralelly at the same time!

Just because yesterday Steve has made me so much excited by his zoom technique, I had no way out but to make some more experiments like these:

1. Looks something like the good old UFOs are coming back again in the middle of the night, but this is nothing else, but just a zoom trick:

2. This is my computer desk. When you first look at this pic you may think to yourself what a foolish idea it is to put a 22" monitor so high above a 14". But again: zoom technique, and much to my regret I don't have a 22" monitor, yet:

Please notice: the screens show the Minolta Forum! ;-)

Thanks again, Steve!! :-)))))

Next post, please!

Cheers, Ferenc

Oh, Plamen, what a lovely building for your Nat.Th.

Our new building has received a lot of critiques, too modern, or it has a kind of a Star Wars touch, things like these...

Moreover, it is located outside downtown... :-))

But who knows the future, Parisians at that time even wanted to destroy the Eiffel Tower...:-))

Let's wait for more posts.

Ferenc

Let me initiate a new subject called: Interesting Buildings.
Ferenc, nice perspective. Some forward thinkers designed that one. May I suggest you start a new thread for your subject, even tho buildings are still life, they deserve a thread of their own.
My best

10x. Our theatre is too old - don't know how exactly - about 100 years. Your building is nice - I like it - everytime different opinions exist.

Here is the next from me - The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral - downtown Sofia - 300m from my home.

Hi Plamen,

Love your night photo of the Cathedral...enjoyed it much... :-))

Do you have more?

Ferenc

Hi to All!

Haven't seen any change in the subject, therefore let me go ahead with Buildings.
:-))

So, in order to continue the thread, here's a building/bridge combination I like very much and glad to share with you. I suppose many people have seen this view from a hill called Gellert-Hill on the opposite side of the Danube River, but I'm sure even more who have not seen will enjoy the lovely combination of the Parliament Building with a 150 year old bridge called the Chain Bridge in Budapest:

Take care. Ferenc

P.S. Let's have "fun, fun, fun" through this thread. Next post please. :-))
