***Mini Challenge 280 - Local Landmarks***

A day's drive seems reasonable. :) Way out of my local zone, but the first is Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River. Not sure about the second (also Colorado River?). Third is Hoover Dam.

I am fortunate to leave in beautiful California. This is the Point Vicente Light house, 5 minutes from my house, that I go to frequently. This is one of may favorite images of it.

Hiking down from there, there is a diving/surfing area

And there is a hotel close by, Terenea, and there is access here with cool looking tide pools.

Cool entries CL!

A days drive (about 1300 km) will get me into many countries (from The Netherlands). That's not what we call local here. :)
Everything more than 15km away is further away than local here. ;)

Funny how in huge countries this is so different (USA, Australia, Canada, Russia, etc).

Local is a relative term. If I can drive there in a day, thats local. That pretty much opens up the entire southwest US and parts of Northern Mexico for me!

Anyway, just for fun, you name the landmarks. All three from the same state, and the same river.
