O/K its sharp, but what's with the sad look? and the union flag over his shoulder, did his mom just die? sorry I don't get the pic at all. please explain what you tried to convey by taking this picture, and what the senario of the situation was.

it succeeded in causing a response, so well done on that score.
 
I wish I could cuss on this site and not get kicked out of here......It is not a sad look.

Don't post your "works of art" here if you don't want any criticism - just go show your snapshots to your grandmother and your dog.
I see you've insulted everyone who's offered any criticism. You're a dolt.
 
Looks good to me. Subject doesn't look to be sad. Nice use of color, also sharp on my end. Slightly hot on contrast, but that can be adjusted with SW. Very well done thx!
 
Are you looking for any suggestions or just showing the shot so that we can just enjoy the photo and learn from you? Your original post had no message one way or the other.
 
Can you explain to me what this scene is about? I'm having a hard time connecting the dots what you're trying to portray with this. I see an American Flag which hangs off man's shoulder,...and he's not a soldier but a sports fan.
 
Getting 6 or so cross-posted threads in one month containing single images from what appears to be your photo-a-day project, is excessive. My honest advice is that your work is not quite at the point where you can promote yourself this heavily and get a positive benefit from it. I'd rather see the best half dozen out of a year's work in one post. I think this will reflect better on you too.
 
IMHO the light from the window is almost burning his left side face...too bright

sorry man, but you're totally wrong, I've seen million posts here were there were no critics, just positive feedbacks. But you gotta make it a perfect one for that. there are many expereinced people here we can all learn from. And that should be your goal posting images here, not starting a fight and insulting people.
