That is a very good start. First thing is to turn NR down to low and look at what other NR software can do. We have EXR and TTL. Apparently it can take a remote cable. Fingers crossed they have fixed shot to shot times on the HS20.

Apologies if my lack of photographic knowledge is catching.

For some reason the F550EXR does not have selectable NR. This could be an important feature if they don't get 3rd party RAW support.

Must have missed the NR settings part I did spot that the bracketing options were not available on the F500exr exposure or DR bracketing a few other things missing and the F550 has a better video spec.

Overall it does seem rather obvious that the F550 is the one worth looking at the price is to close on both models for the F500 to make sense it needs to be quite a bit cheaper at the moment seems to be about £25 between them try £75 that would make more sense

The whole reason I was waiting for this camera over alternatives was that it was advertised to record 1280x720 HD video at 60 FPS, in addition to the cool EXR features. Now the manual says this resolution is recorded at 30 FPS. Anything higher than 30 FPS is "slow motion" mode and is recorded with no sound.

I posted on Fujiguy's Facebook page about conflicting specs depending on which Fujifilm site I visited, and they said it would have 60 FPS at that resolution. That was a couple of months ago

Now I'll have to look closer at the Panasonic ZS10 which does do 720p @ 60 FPS..

Why do you need 60fps? Excuse my lack of video knowledge!
