Photo trademark or signature ??

Can anyone suggest a way to place a personal Trademark, or signature in a digital picture?
 
Why not just use the text tool? You could even create a separate image, then just copy/paste the layer into other photos so you don't have to create it over again. Or for something fancier, do "new image", add layer, create your sig using pen or brush tools, remove the background layer, and save. Then just open and copy/paste to your photos as needed, dragging with the move tool to position it where you want.

For prints:

Use a fairly soft pencil and write your signature (name of shot, print X/of Y, whatever) in a straight line on a white piece of paper. Use your camera to shoot the white piece of paper and signature at EV+2.0. That makes the paper whiter. Now bring the signature image into Photoshop, whiten it up all the way to full while keeping the pencil "feel" to the written stuff.

Add 50-100 extra lines of white to the bottom of your shot by increasing the canvas size and place the written material there, reducing, separating and positioning as necessary.

Done right this will look like you signed the print.

Or, you could sign the print.

If you use a drawing tablet,like a WACOM tablet, you can "sign" your photo with the stylus....as if you were using a pencil.

Iif you dont have the stylus and WACOm, your best way is to photograph your signature... as stated before in another reply.

You can use this and the technique of adding withe space by increasing the canvas area in Photohsop and you are done!
