XZ-1 images

Very nice photos. It's hard to tell if this is how the chapel looked or if the shots are more yellow than in real life (seems that way with some of the people). I'd probably do a little white balancing. The eye dropper in OV2 works wonders on RAWs. Beautiful crisp shots though. Thanks for posting them.

great captures...thanks for sharing...

It has been a sunny day today and the light in the chapel was really lovely and warm, though perhaps not quite as warm as the photos, but not far off!
Thanks for the comments.

Yeah, I like the warm look, I just thought if the wall were white or something, then it would have looked a bit odd.

Not that the pictures need it, but it might be fun to try some longer exposures and see if you can't get the windows to "pop" a little more and the walls to glow.

Ah, no tripods etc allowed! It's only in the last 3-4 yeasr they've even let you take (no flash) photos!
I did shoot a professional video for a choir there once though....
Anyways, that's the joy of a faster lens! (see the chior stalls shot)

I've discovered it's best not to stop down beyond f/4.5 as diffraction sets in quite visibly.

Beautiful stained glassed windows...thanks for sharing these photos with us, taken in low light conditions...they look good.

Love Cathedrals and their construction. Some have catacombs like the National Cathedral in Wash DC.

Not possible on these images. The only info is file size and compression ratio. It seems OP elected to remove that info.

I've uploaded a very much shrunken version of the files to a folder on my website together with an exif tool program for you to download.

Remember these are the jpegs, not the RAW, and I've compressed them to make then fit!
I'll leave them up for a few days so those who are interested can have a look.
Regards!
