Can anyone identify this bird?

This bird was in my garden last year and I got this photo. It looks like a young bird of prey(by looking at those talons. does anybody know what species this bird is?
 
LOL. I guess you are probably right. I did not think about it being a pigeon. It had such a different look than the regular pigeons we have in Portland(like the annoying ones at the park etc) It had a very strange behavior that made it seem really different. I only saw it for a bit and got this shot and never could quite figure out what it was.

Pigeons are inbred worse than humans...those "strange" colors are normal. ;-)

.... lesser spotted Oozelum bird.

They are rare because they fly around in ever decreasing circles until they disappear up their ... um .... er .... Oozelums! :-P

Thanks. I guess it is an 'inbred' pigeon. It has such weird behavior, that was what caught my attention. Plus I have never seen a bird just like this visit my garden.
Anyhow, thanks for the info!!
 
It's probably a Rock Dove (Feral Pigeon). They have a widely varying plumage. They are about a foot long.
