Any recommendations of noiseware that works in the 64 bit CS5? I used Imagenomic in CS3 and liked it fine. I can't use it in CS5 and don't want to switch back and forth with the 32-64, etc. Any good recommendations for something that works and is fairly simple would be great.

Why can't you use your Noiseware?

I upgraded from XP/CS3 to Win7/CS5 64-bit and my Noiseware license upgraded to 64bit with no problems.

Photoshop CS5/ACR and Lightroom 3 have excellent noise removal. When removing noise besure to sharpen as it is necessary. Outside of Adobe for noise removal, Topaz DeNoise 5.01 and Nik Dfine 2 are very, very good, and both are easy to use. Topaz DeNoise is my favorite with extraordinary results and ease of use.

I really like the NR in ACR and LR3. For the really tough jobs I turn to Topaz Denoise. I think it does a better job of preserving details that any other SW I've used. It really pays to watch the tutorial videos.

As for ACR/LR3, you can open any image in ACR and use the noise reduction. I found I can get excellent results using this method for ACR/LR3.

Here's an example taken at ISO 3200 with LR3 noise reduction.

Topaz DeNoise is my favourite too - but there is one IMO big omission. It does not have sharpening and denoising in one step - which I found essential. Though debluring is possible it is not equal to regular sharpen tool. The same with other Topaz products - Adjust, Details or InFocus. They can either denoise but not sharpen to a full degree, or sharpen and not denoise with full control in one step.

I use CS5 and use Noiseware Pro 4.2 just fine on my 64 bit system. I use the 32bit side of CS5 because not all my plugins come in 64 bit.

I shoot basketball with a Nikon D300s and either an 85mm f/1.8 or my 70-200. I believe this shot was with the 85mm.

This is fairly typical of what I get for basketball if I nail the exposure and focus.
This is an extraordinary photo. Especially the lack of noise at ISO 3200. What camera and lens was this shot with?

Yes I know about that - some more control will preferable though. (radius, treshold etc.)
