I like the colors of the sunset2485 pic. Very nice. I also like the 2870flour pic. I just picked up a 28-70 for my S2 and love it so far. Great lens.

Thanks for commenting. I like all the lenses myself. I was really impressed with what the 24-85 can do at a much cheaper price though. My personal favorite right now is the 85 1.4 and I'll try posting more pictures with that lens, but I'm planning on doing a small trip so I can get a little more variety in my gallery lol.

I'm reading some excellent books on photography right now and hope to channel that knowledge into progressively better shots. Low light photography is particularly beautiful to me, but yet harder to master. Part of the problems I'm already experiencing is a crappy tripod. I need a far better tripod then the sub $50 throw away tripod I was using for my canon sure shot waterproof camera. Local store will be displaying gitzo versus bogen tripods among other things, so I can't wait to go check it out when they come in.

Talking about tripod, I just bought a Bogen 3001Pro with a 3413QR Proball head and I love it. Total price was $157 at B&H.
