Hello Everybody,

i'm on a purchase decision for the 9500 MkII and have one last issue. I want to print a custom paper size, there are two max. paper size option as i read in the manual:

12.95 x 26.61 inches / 329.0 x 676.0 mm (Rear Tray) and
14.00 x 23.00 inches / 355.6 x 584.2 mm (Front Tray).

The first option is the one that suits me, because i need the PRINT size to be 300.0 x 600.0 mm. Beside that i would like to be able to print as big as the printer can do. I will cut the paper size needed manually out of roll paper.

My questions to 9500 MkII owners: At the sizes near or at maximum paper size, will the printer still print with that 3-4-5 mm margins, as stated in the diagrams from the manual? Has someone tried to print one or both of the maximum paper sizes? What sizes were possible? What results did you have, what margins did you get from that big prints? Thank you for reading.

Hi Irv,

thank you for the reply. I know Qimage from its early years, and if i get the 9500 MkII i will get Qimage too.

What i need is someone who has this printer to confirm that he/she has printed so large as the manual states is possible (max. custom paper size with 4-5 mm margins), and that the clear print size possible is at least 30.0 x 60.0 cm.
Anyone with the Canon 9500 reading this lines ?!?

Thanks again Irv, Greetings from GR,
Stelios

I am about to get my 9500 mk2 printer and have always used lightroom to control the printing and one of its strengths is precise control of print area so am not anticipating problems in particular. LR is extremely affordable and has useful features that used to be found only in Photoshop and an extremely useful website for its use is at photokaboom.com and written by an extremely knowledgeable academic who knows what he is talking about and does not charge to share.I might make a comment or two when my printer appears and is up and running later and I know it will surpass the E brand for I have more than one of those and know money hungry peculiarites only too well. Cheers Mark
