Was experimenting with focus pull and these just seem to portray "jagged" vs "smooth"( was looking for a sense of smooth motion ). Done with tripod and 24-120 f4. Any suggestions?

Your correct!....I'll have to send it off right away for correction :(

I actually like these artistic photos. Well done. Not sure which one is better in that they all have their merits. The only 'negative' aspect is the white in the frames. Pity. Otherwise they will still make nice wall hangings.
You could call the series 'Flowers at warp speed'. :D

Nice Bokeh, all over the frame, very artistic.
Not sure if a particular spot is focused will render
a different impact to the entire image. My imagination only.

I see exactly what you are saying...I hadn't noticed till you pointed it out. It came from nearby windows. Thank you, I will be working on a correction.

Here I tried to fix the bright blowout by shooting under CFL's and using some PP in CS4. I think I need to remove the white flowers and look for a darker background.

Can anyone shed some light, how to achieve this? Thanks.
In shutter priority, set around half a second to 1 sec exposure. Use ISO to get exposure right. Zoom in and focus on a colorful object, colored lights, or anything that catches your fancy. Smoothly Begin to Zoom out as you press the shutter release and keep zooming out till the shutter closes. Experiment and have a good time.

I've never tried this, but you can wrap tape or string around the zoom ring and peel that off during exposure. Smoother than turning the zoom ring by hand.
