Hello sigmafriends
I brought my sd15 with me at work for some missions.
Better experience than the sd 14, which was frustrating
with its limited buffer. But I want more, more. Hope the
sd1 will have more resources in this respect.

Someone really should invent a camera with user-upgradable
buffer like the ram-cards in laptops.....laughs!

Here are some pictures:

C&C welcome. All the best, Terje

Very crispy and sharp images. What is the story on the people in the pics? If it's confidential it's ok, you can tell me, I won't tell anyone.

Awesome colors TerjeO: A good story with real action. Thanks for sharing.

Glad the SD-15 is working out for you, those were some great shots!

Thanks for sharing. You have some fine shots here and a great little story.

Very nice pictures - content, colors and the lens !

I read somewhere on this forum the Sigma cameras don't take good pictures that have water in them. :) These must be the exceptions.

Great set of images that also reveal a lot about the tasks involved. Thanks for posting.

The photograph isolates and perpetuates a moment of time: an important and revealing moment, or an unimportant and meaningless one, depending upon the photographer's understanding of his subject and mastery of his process. -Edward Weston

Lovely shots. It wasn't a training, right, it was a real rescue mission? Is that Norway or the Alps?

Thanks for what you do. An SH-3 varient? [nt]

Thanks. Yes it is a SH-3 derivative, a Westland Sea King mk43B, built by Westland Helicopters, UK. Terje.

The pictures show both actual missions and training ones. All in Norway. Mostly around Bodø, where my homebase is. Terje. :-)

Weell, I could tell you, but then I'd have to............ you know.

Some of them are kind of "models" in a fotomission to decorate our new facilities here in Bodø. Terje :)

Thanks for your comments, all! Very welcome. Can't resist to sneak in two more, one from the SD14, and one from that shining old star, the SD9, love the colors:

Have a nice SD1, Terje :-)

I've been in Bodo twice, many years ago. Flew in on U.S. Navy P-3s for what was technically called 'NATO commitments', but they were actually RO2N R&Rs for those of us deployed to Iceland. In case you're curious, I was an airborne SONAR operator. I've also been in Stavanger a couple of times for the same reason. (Yes, I had fillet of reindeer. :)) I liked Norway and Norwegians very much. Wish I could get back again, but it's way out of line with my budget.
