Hi to All!

If you allow me, I'll follow Mufi's thead and start Landscaping with a panorama pic!

This is the Lake of Bled in Slovenia very near to the Austrian border surrounded by mountains. Notice the church on the small island in the lake on the far right side of the photo. Romantic, isn't it! A wonderful place for summer vacation!

Here' a close-up of the Churh.

Your turn!

Cheers, Ferenc

Hello to All,

Let me show you a nice pic of the Castle of Hochosterwitz in Austria (North-East of Klagenfurt). When I first saw the castle I though I just dropped into the middle of a fairy tale. :-))

Here's a close-up:

hey there,

actually .. not correct!

the photo is 1 image that was exposed for 4 sec, and the zoom started tight on the cup (floating image) and then was widened gradually during the shot (giving the appearance that the small image of the cup grew into the large image) and finally resting at wide to highlight the small cup.

i think with the right subject this technique could produce some awesome photos, like a wedding shot where the bride is perceived to increase in size, over time.

i read about this technique the other day and i figure it has
endless possibilities, but here's the best of my first day of
trying it.

Hi Steve,

Your driving me crazy! :-)))

Since you posted the solution of this zoom technique I didn't stop shooting around in the kitchen till I got this 27th tirial one:

What do you think?

Give up or work hard to develop more.

Thanks, this is great, Doc!!

hey ferenc,

you're getting it all right. it sounds not too difficult, but as i quickly found out, there are a lot of variables that you can massage to get the look you want. of course, there's not much use for floating pots and cups, but i just know i will come across a situation that this technique will be the best. so .. we float the pots and cups until we get it right grasshopper! and be ready for that mystical day in the future.

Saw it - Great! Both the subject and the photography. BTW: How much is D7Hi in Hungary? I've made my decision, but it appeared not to be so easy to reach that camera.
