I am partial to this one anyway. Comments welcome. Would you have tried to lighten the foliage or leave it as is? Other suggestions? E-30, 12-60 lens.

I would leave it the way it is...that's excellent...wonderful sunset picture that you have here. Sometimes, I try to keep the area of the sun slightly offset from the center.

Since you don’t answer your e-mails, I’m crawling out from under my rock to comment on this image. (I’ve been super busy, with dozens of distractions and my back against photo deadlines.)

I think this is a very pretty picture as it is, Wayne. I wouldn’t lighten the foliage in the foreground; the silhouette makes a nice frame for the colorful sunset and reflection. I might straighten the horizon, and crop about 3/8 inch off the top to lift the horizon a little more out of the middle of the frame. (See, you can’t escape my pickiness, even when you are in Florida.)

Hi John, I knew I could bring you out of hiding by posting an image that would be just right if it didn't have so many problems. Actually, I thought I was answering your emails but then I don't get online all that much. I hope to be home by Saturday. Not incidentally, I did look at your gallery of Blanco State Park and posted a comment. Things going about as usual. 100 throwaways for every keeper.

without drowning myself. Although maybe Robert Capa's statement about photography applies here, "If your photos aren't good enough, you're not close enough". Thanks for stopping by to look.

Beautiful: Where's Forida ?

Georgia. Do they have Florida sunsets in Georgia?
When you can see Florida across the St. Mary's River, they sure do :-)

Hi Wayne,

Now this is a very impressive image, and should, IMHO be left the way it is, with maybe just a tad of horizon straightening.

Cheers,
John

Beautiful Wayne.

You might try rotation about 3/4degrees CCW and cropping a inch or so off the bottom.
