e-dials on the K5

I have no issues at all with my K-5. It is a fabulous machine.

No spots, not wobbly dials, just an awesome sensor in a wonderful body.

Yes, I had issues with my front dial. When turning the settings didn't change at each click of the dial (Sometimes it did and some times it didn't / unpredictable behavior) and sometimes the setting (ISO/Tv/Av/...) changed in the opposite direction (dial up -> setting went down / Dial down setting went up / also unpredictable).

It's fixed now after the replacement.
Anyone having issues with the e-dials? Or, did they resolve that before the K5 came out?

Took it back to the store and they replaced it, problem gone, mind you I have the sensor stain to deal with still. I think there were a few issues in the initial production, but it seems to have been ironed out. I guess I should have waited as originally planned, but despite those, I really like using the camera.

no problems, although I must say that my replacement K5 (stain issue) seems to have a more affirmative touch. I use my left eye so the rear dial I preset for aperture and opted the front for exposure compensation. This avoids my thumb from poking me in the right eye!

I'm having the same issue with my K-r dial. Others in this forum suggested a squirt of contact cleaner. I haven't tried it yet.
