Have a GH1

First, get a video camera, then check with a video site.
Many thanks your so helpful

Keep up the good work
I agree, a totally useless and unhelpful post....what's the world coming too...!

Anyways...about video editing software...there are many many good programs out there...but first I need to know what is your OS.

If you r using a mac, u cant go wrong with iMovie. simple yet very powerful.

On PCs, you are basically spoilt for choice. You have already received a good recommendation in one of the earlier posts...

By process, I assume you mean convert AVCHD to editable format?

Mac: JESDeinterlacer. iMovie 09/11 can also do it.

PC: I'm pretty sure the camera came with software to do it, no? I don't use Windows :)

Editors?

Mac: iMovie / Final Cut Express / Final Cut Pro
PC: Windows Movie Maker / Sony Vegas / Adobe Premiere

I use Video Studio X3, from Corel who bought the makers: Ulead. It accepts AVCHD files without any conversion, software is inexpensive and works well. There is also a very useful and active forum where questions are answered by expert users... Al
