Hi All,

This weekend I bougth an S820 to print photos of our baby girl. The photos were taken with a G2 and are all large, superfine prints. I am seeking advice on how use the S820 in such a way that I get the best possible results. I am printing out of photoshop LE.

What is the optimal ppi for a 4 x 6 inch print or for an A4 print (8 x12 inch) on Canon PR 101 paper?

What is the optimal procedure (resize, resample, sharpening?) to get best results out of this printer?

Thanks all for your advice!

-I am about to give you the generally accepted advise that 90% of your type of question gets . It is also advise that I fiollowed and could not be happier about.

Dowload Qimage Pro. from DDISoftware. First work with the trial and you will then see why it is the best USD 35.00 (until Nov 30th) you will spend. It improves print quality, and makes rezing and laying out multiple prints per page easy.
