It is incredible how so many people can constantly misread speed to mean ease. This is certainly most common where photography is concerned. However, simply because anyone can buy a camera, shutter away, and then with a slightly prejudiced eye justify the product does not validate the achievement. Shooting a target with a rifle is accomplished with similar speed and yet because the results are so objective no one suggests that marksmanship is easy.

I shoot plenty that are soft, I just don't show them. As far as my workflow, I crop if needed and save as tiff with a viewer. Then in ps I autolevel or adjust with curves.. use blurr brush on obvious noise, adjust saturation, and/or layer and adjust saturation then erase. USM then save, then resize with "image ready" . I sometimes adjust color balance after I make the smaller version.

Ok, that does it!!

FESSS UP, no way in the world you can get that sort of clarity with a 717 so it must be a DSLR!! :P

Thx ,,Yea just one in a little spot fixture..2 or 3 is going to be alot of light. Even though GE claims the bulb filters yellow light it still gives a strange color cast. Or I am just not used to shooting with lights at all.
mxcat,
These are great! I gotta get me some of them 'reveal bulbs'! It
looks like you were only using one (100W) bulb for all your light?

Thanks,
Don.
