"Pretty Place"

It was such a gorgeous day...with the fall foliage fast disappearing, that my husband and I decided to drive to "Pretty Place", a very special outdoor chapel in Greenville County, South Carolina.

It is impossible to capture the magnificence and breadth of the view, but it is a must-be-seen spot. I've put together a little album at Yahoo Photos http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/billswife_1999/lst?.dir=/Pretty+Place+Greenville+SC&.view=t

which can give you a small idea of why you might want to visit, but here's one shot, taken on a very hazy day...pollution, I sadly suspect hindered the view.

Someone on the Retouching Forum asked if this could be done in Elements...I doubted it until I looked it up in Elements' help files and lo and behold...PIECE OF CAKE! Play with it. Really fun!

Yes...I did take several images for a panorama, but so much of the image was extremely hazy that I voted against a panorama.

there are all sorts of haze removal actions out there! don't discard the hazy ones - they can be fixed!

I checked the link and it opens up my Pretty Place album on Yahoo Photos. Perhaps Muriel has a slow internet connection and it takes a long time to connect. I had no problem...the album images are not big...there are 5 of them.
