X100 is it going to come??

Unlless, of course, you have really big pockets.
The X100 is going to be like carrying a brick in your pocket. Besides, do people really carry cameras around unprotected in their pockets along with coins, car keys, lint, dust, 10 rounds of ammunition and a swiss army knife? ppplease!
Some nice little sling bags out there.

No, but I generally carry one in my inside coat pocket all by itself. I think the X100 will fit nicely there.
Sod the pockets, this camera looks so cool that if I had one I would want to carry it around my neck.

Well I am going to buy it when it show's up
Great!. March 2011 here we come!
I jumped ship this month and bought a Pentax K5
How could you? You are a traitor.
People are leaving you FUJI, I guess you don't care if they go to another camera line.
by your own admission, you are jumped ship and are a traitor to Fuji. Fuji deserves not to listen to you.
--May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may nature fill your heart with gladness
to cheer you.
Rick Clark
may nature fill your heart with gladness, too

Square Pants have big pockets, but I certainly would not put my Leica R6.2 in my pair of square pants and the X100 is the same size. If nothing else, just by it's weight, the pants would fall to the floor, so the X100 had better be extra light weight.

This fall I saw a couple of Bowdoin College kids wearing rangefinders like bling. After seeing that I will never be caught wearing a camera like a necklace for all to see its glory … now I am going to have to hide it and only pop it out for a quick shot :-D

Those kids must have been snap artists
Are you saying that with a straight face?

I tried heh heh

depends. rangefinders are great for some things, not so good for others. anyone who bumped a leica and got vertical displacement -- the rangefinder worked horizontally but was out of register vertically, making exact focus a little more difficult -- knows how easily this phenomenon can be achieved. then there's the matter of the rangefinder base.

and of course a 23mm lens doesn't need all that much focusing, anyway, at, say f8.

I want to look cool. What camera should I get? (Money is no object, of course.)
Get one of these for your necklace

I think there are a couple of special editions that would look much cooler and since money is no object I think the special editions are about double.

there's also word from the scientists and researchers of something they say looks promising, called a camera strap.
If they ever perfect it, it will probably too expensive for general public use.
