Sony "goofs" again

Just got my 717 back. It appears to be fine and to have enjoyed its trip. However when I checked out the camera I found a battery inside which was strange because there wasn't a battery inside when I shipped it. Perhaps its Sony's way of saying "I'm sorry"?

hehehee...next time just send an empty box for repair and see what happens....

I got a baggie and a rubber band as a bonus. I'd have preferred a battery, but, I ain't complainin' now that the cam is back home safe.

Yeah, and in my package they put 10 512MB memory sticks, 7 battaries, 5 lens converters, 4 tripods, 6 leather cases, 1 lens hood and an appolgy letter signed by all Sony execs.

Lighten up Harry. We have just gone through a trying time with the HAF problem on our 717's and now that its behind us we just want to take pics and poke fun.

At least Harry is consistent. I assume you are complaining about Sony's lack of quality control since they missed giving you a battery.

Funny thing is that another battery is the last thing I need (had 2 before, 3 now). I'll probably send it to my son to go with his 707. Just like SONY to give me somthing I don't need. They make a fine camera but other than that they just don't cut it. Hmm I think I feel another rant coming on. Think I'll take a cold shower before I get carried away.
