Here are some of mine, just with the NEX lenses:





I really prefer the look of the 18-55mm lens on the silver body:









I keep the 18-55mm lens attached to the silver body, and use the 18-200mm lens on the black body.

All of the "originals" of the above shots are 1920 x 1200 high-resolution shots, suitable for your desktop wallpaper.... ;-)

Finally, this is the 18-55mm lens with a step-up ring, utilizing my existing 58mm filter:

Sigma 50mm f1,4 - big in it self, enourmos on the Nex





The good old minolta legend 200mm f2,8 - qutie small and handy on the a900, here it looks more like a 300 f2,8. I always thought this lens is butt ugly, but what a piece of optics, I love this one.





And what is this? a huge telescope? No, just the minolta 400mm f4,5 - also quite handy compromise between speed and size, not so handy on the Nex

Thats my all time favorite lens, but I use it only together with the a900, it is not wide enough for apsC sensor, and it is way to big for Nex. I cant wait to get a super sharp Zeiss alternative to go with the Nex, like a Mirrorless version of the 16-80 CZ, hopefully at 18-55 size. Alternative is CZ compact/pancake primes in the 14-24mm area. I want high quality and small size before speed, small size is verry important in the Nex lens lineup.

Yeah, I bought it when I was using the A700 anticipating a future addition of an A850, so I could use it as either a 36-105 equivalent with the A700 or 24-70 on the A850. But given how much the APS-C sensors have improved I'm now not sure if I'll ever go the route of full frame DSLR. I may well choose the A77 and/or NEX-7 as an upgrade path, if so I'll likely sell the CZ and my other FF lenses.

My ideal leans for the NEX would be a CZ 16-80 f/2.8 optimized for E mount. Doesn't sound like that is coming although sounds like an upgraded standard G zoom is on the roadmap for 2012. In the meantime I will be using the NEX-5 with the 18-200 and a few V-C manual focus primes. The promised CZ fast wide angle is definitely on my radar, I'm hoping it is a 24mm equivalent.

Supposedly Sony has the E-mount specs available to 3rd party lens makers. It would be great to see Sigma, Tamron, Cosina, Samyang, etc make some small and high quality lenses for the NEX. Rumor I saw had the NEX-7 having IBIS which would help in that OSS wouldn't be necessary.

LOL, awesome. The way it's shot, it makes it look like it's mounted on a wall, like those weapons one sees hanging in a secret spy lair. ;)
