Just kidding....but wouldn't mind restoring it...if I can talk the
brother-in-law out of it.
My first and last 4X4, because I'm going to drive it 'til the
wheels fall off.
We have one of those too, only it's white! Do you have a hard top for it too? We do. My husband just put a really wonderful sterro system in it, and he'd much rather drive that one on the beach on the Outer Banks (NC) than the Expedition! He LOVES that car!

Which one? There's a good chance I'll be at the one near Alton (IL) on Saturday. I got the car from Dean Team Manchester, but I get it serviced at Dean Kirkwood.Btw i live in st.louis mo toand work at VW dealership in the parts dept.

Even though you don't drive a VW and just work at the dealer, you might want to look at http://www.stlvw.org -- we're a local enthusiast club with 50+ members. The dealer near Alton is our starting point for a club drive on Saturday. I'm expecting to have a great time -- and to take many photos.

Hey Willa,
I love mine too. And yeah, I"ve got the hard top, the soft top, full doors, half doors, and every other option/accessory you can think of for the most part. Might not be able to tell it from the pics, but it's got a 4 inch suspension lift and 33 inch mud tires too.
I take it to Hatteras several times during the year, spend most of the time just driving around the beach playing.
